Knowledge is Power
There are many reasons why women wait to start a family. Some are busy building careers, others have yet to find the right partner, and still others may be among the growing segment of women who are planning to be a single mom, when they feel ready. Ultimately, egg freezing puts women in the driver’s seat when it comes to starting a family. By freezing eggs, women may continue on a chosen path longer or pursue new opportunities without feeling like the clock is ticking.
It is well-known that fertility declines with age. At birth, a female has all the eggs she will ever have in her lifetime, between one and two million. But by the time she is in her early thirties, her pool of eggs (ovarian reserve) will have decreased to less than half that number. And by her late thirties, more than fifty percent of a woman’s eggs will be of low-quality due to genetic imbalances or other age-related issues.
Freezing eggs as early as possible offers women more options and a higher chance of success when it comes time to start a family.
RMANJ Marlton’s award-winning fertility specialists are also noted researchers in the field, so they can thoroughly explain the process and will be happy to answer questions at this event in a pressure-free environment
