RMA Philadelphia works with local experts and providers of complementary medicine techniques, including acupuncture, yoga, herbal therapies, and mind & body programs. Our reproductive endocrinologists support complementary approaches and may integrate these treatment programs into a patient’s individual care. Our King of Prussia office even has a certified acupuncturist on staff.
Acupuncture before and after fertility treatments has a multitude of benefits: increased blood flow to the uterus, reduced stress levels, and increased sperm count, to name just a few.
Other techniques such as yoga and meditation can help women cope with the stress and anxiety of fertility treatment. By helping patients achieve a healthier state of mind, these techniques may even help to improve reproductive function.
