Lauren Grabiec is a board certified women’s health advanced practice nurse, registered advanced practice nurse and a registered nurse. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Ramapo College of New Jersey and, immediately after graduation, she earned a position as a labor and delivery nurse at Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ. While working at Chilton, she went back to school and obtained her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
Once she graduated from UMDNJ, she found herself unable to conceive naturally and became a fertility patient of RMANJ’s founding partner, Dr. Paul Bergh. With her positive experience as a patient and her passion for women’s health, she decided it was time to join the RMANJ team. She served as a nurse practitioner on the Third Party Reproductive Team for two years.
Grabiec was then presented with the opportunity to broaden her clinical experience in women’s health and took a position as a nurse practitioner seeing OB/GYN patients at a private practice. There she realized that reproductive medicine was her true passion so she returned to RMANJ. As a nurse practitioner Grabiec performs ultrasounds, IUIs, endometrial biopsies, saline sonograms, and physical examinations.
Grabiec is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
“Infertility will always hold a special place in my heart and I want to help others achieve the success that I had,” she said, “If there is one thing I always say to my patients it’s “Don’t lose hope, it’s all worth it, I promise.” When she isn’t seeing patients, Grabiec enjoys spending time with her husband, three-year-old daughter and two-year-old son.
