PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
PA-C, MCMSc
San Diego, CA
Anastasiya is a nationally board-certified physician associate (PA) who joined the Pearl team in March 2023. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS), California Academy of Physician Associates (CAPA), and the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).
Anastasiya was born in Odesa, Ukraine, and immigrated with her family to Los Angeles, CA, where she was raised. She speaks Ukrainian and Russian fluently, and with her life experiences, she wanted to join the medical field as a PA at the age of 17.
She moved to attend the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, focusing on preventive medicine and increasing access to quality health care. After graduating, she continued to pursue her career goals of becoming a PA. She gained many skills working with complex medical conditions as a medical assistant in a general surgery practice before moving to Miami, FL, to attend Barry University Physician Assistant Program, where she earned her Master of Clinical Medical Science and Physician Assistant degree. During her training in various specialties throughout clinical practice, she solidified her desire to work in women’s health and was fortunate to have experienced the different subspecialties of OBGYN. Ultimately, Anastasiya found her passion for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and is eager to help patients achieve their family-building goals and support their paths to parenthood. While she is not yet a mother, it has always been her biggest dream, and has continued to be ever since she was a little girl. Anastasiya strives to provide her patients with the utmost quality and compassionate care that they deserve.
“While having children of my own one day is my greatest desire, my goal is to educate patients and help them optimize their health through lifestyle changes in adjunct to their individualized treatment plan, in order to provide each patient the best possible chance at success, whether it be for fertility preservation or achieving their awaited healthy baby, and empowering them throughout their unique journey.”
Anastasiya has always lived off the coast of the sea or ocean, whether in Odesa, Ukraine, Los Angeles, San Diego, or Miami. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors either by the beach or in the mountains, hiking local trails, traveling, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and dog Zeus.
