Single by Choice
Many single women and men choose to build their families without a partner. These patients are often referred to as single parents by choice and RMA offers fertility treatments for single individuals looking to become parents.
Family Building for Single Individuals
Sometimes, life doesn’t turn out exactly as you planned – but you forge ahead with your dreams anyway.
If you’re single but don’t want to wait any longer to start your family, we can help you. Increasingly, single men and women who want children are taking matters into their own hands and becoming single parents by choice. And while this path may sound complicated, the process may surprise you.
Our Third-Party Reproduction team, staffed by warm, compassionate, and dedicated nurses, counselors, and specialists, will help you every step of the way.
For men, your path to fatherhood will involve an egg donor and a gestational surrogate. Your sperm will be paired with a donor egg to create an embryo using In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). The embryo will be implanted into the gestational surrogate’s uterus in hopes of leading to a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
For women, you will need to use a sperm donor, and can first attempt pregnancy through Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) before pairing the donor sperm with your egg during IVF. If you are able to carry the pregnancy, the embryo will be implanted into your uterus in the hopes you will become pregnant.
Members of the transgender community can also start their families with RMA, and treatment will depend on whether you have eggs or sperm to use during treatment.
