“Male infertility deserves the same thoughtful, evidence-based care as female infertility, and that’s what I strive to provide every day.”
Dr. Puneet Masson graduated with honors in Anthropology and Biology from Brown University before earning his medical degree at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He went on to complete a six-year urology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in Male Infertility and Andrology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Masson has held several prominent academic and clinical leadership roles, including founding the male fertility program at the University of Pennsylvania, where he served for 10 years as Director of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery and was promoted to Associate Professor. He later served as Director of Reproductive Urology at the University of Miami’s Desai Sethi Urology Institute. In addition, he has built and expanded programs for male fertility preservation and served as Western Regional Medical Director and VP of Clinical Engagement at Posterity Health, establishing clinical practices across the West Coast.
At RMA, Dr. Masson specializes in an integrated approach to male fertility, collaborating closely with reproductive endocrinologists to provide couples with comprehensive and individualized care. As a fellowship-trained microsurgeon, he performs procedures such as microsurgical testicular sperm extraction, vasectomy reversal, varicocelectomy, and “no-scalpel” vasectomy. He is also committed to advancing inclusive care for LGBTQ+ patients, expanding access to fertility preservation, testosterone replacement therapy, and gender-affirming surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Masson is an avid world traveler, fitness enthusiast, and long-standing Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoys exploring new cultures, reading, and spending time with his fiancée.
