Dr. Kristi Maas, MD, is a double board-certified infertility specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She provides compassionate, patient-centered fertility care at our Sandy, Utah, location, serving individuals and couples throughout the Salt Lake Valley, Provo, Ogden, and the greater Mountain West.
Dr. Maas finds one of the most fulfilling parts of her work, beyond celebrating positive pregnancy tests, to be helping patients understand their reproductive health and empowering them to make confident, informed decisions about their care.
A native of the Mountain West, Dr. Maas earned both her Honors Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah. She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2005, where she received numerous academic and merit-based scholarships throughout her studies.
Following medical school, Dr. Maas completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maine Medical Center: Tufts University School of Medicine, and pursued Visiting Residencies in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at both the University of Colorado, Denver, and Boston IVF / Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She then completed a three-year Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Boston IVF and served as a Clinical Fellow in Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School.
Before joining Reproductive Care Center (RCC), Dr. Maas practiced for five years as a private Reproductive Endocrinologist in San Diego, where she developed a reputation for meticulous, evidence-based care. Today, she is thrilled to bring her expertise back home to Utah, offering world-class fertility treatment to patients throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
Outside of work, Dr. Maas enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs—running, hiking, or skiing on Utah’s scenic trails. She also loves to travel, explore new cuisines and cultures, and has participated in multiple medical missions across South America and Africa. A passionate animal advocate, she has volunteered with several animal rescues and shelters.
