In-Vitro
Fertilization (IVF)
In Vitro Fertilization, or IVF, is the procedure most commonly associated with fertility treatment.
While not every patient is right or ready for IVF, it has been demonstrated to be a highly effective option for many. Patients are often recommended for IVF based on a number of factors, including:
-
Age
-
Genetic disease
-
Recurrent miscarriage
-
Medical history
-
Issues related to sperm or egg quantity or quality
Once any issues have been identified and addressed, the specialist will recommend an appropriate treatment plan and a cycle can be scheduled.
Artificial Insemination
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a type of artificial insemination that allows doctors to inject sperm directly into a patient’s uterine cavity during an optimal time of ovulation.
IUI is used to treat many causes of infertility, especially when there is a problem with the sperm, such as low sperm count or low motility (when sperm do not move well). IUI bypasses the cervix, so it is a useful treatment if there is incompatibility between sperm and the cervical mucus.

Egg Freezing
As a woman ages, unfortunately the quantity and quality of her eggs diminish.
While the decline in quality actually starts when women are in their 20s, this process accelerates around age 35, just as many women are hitting their stride in their professional lives.
Egg freezing allows you to press pause on your fertility.
By freezing your eggs while they are still young and healthy, you can empower yourself to plan your future fertility your way. The process is safe, relatively quick and rewarding, and the chances of your eggs surviving their thaw are very good.
