Dr. Genovese is a San Diego native - born in La Jolla just across the street from her current practice - who is proud to return home to serve her community as a Reproductive Endocrinologist. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Jefferson-RMA New Jersey and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She earned her M.D. from Drexel University College of Medicine, where she was honored with the Hodgson Scholarship and the Ob/Gyn Excellence Award and served as Chapter President of the American Medical Women’s Association.

Dr. Genovese holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, where she was recognized as a James B. Angell Scholar. She has authored 10 peer-reviewed publications and presented research at national and international conferences, with academic interests in recurrent pregnancy loss, endometrial insufficiency, and male factor infertility.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has awarded her multiple accolades for community service, professionalism, and leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, reading, traveling, exploring new restaurants, beach walks, and spending time with her husband and son.
