Francesca Barrett, MD MBA, will be joining the Jefferson-RMA Fellowship in July 2023. She graduated magna cum laude from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, where she was awarded the prestigious Turner Citizenship Prize for exemplary service to the College and her fellow students. She received her medical and business degrees in the five-year joint MD MBA program at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School, where she won multiple accolades, including the Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship for leadership and commitment to the non-profit sector. She completed residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. During residency, Francesca was Education Chief Resident, and she worked to expand access to fertility benefits for residents and physicians through her roles in the American Medical Women’s Association and in the nationwide Committee of Interns and Residents. During residency, Francesca authored several peer-reviewed articles and presented multiple research abstracts at national meetings, including American Society of Reproductive Medicine and Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. She was the recipient of the 2022 American Society for Reproductive Medicine Resident in Training Award. Dr. Francesca Barrett is honored to be joining the Jefferson-RMA fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
