She’s back. Hayley Eichlin, who spent two years working as a nurse practitioner at RMANJ’s Basking Ridge office in 2015, has returned to RMANJ.

But this time, she’s landed in Marlton, where she’ll be working with lead doctors Daniel Kaser and Jason Franasiak at an exciting time: the opening of a brand new fertility center complete with a world-class embryology lab.

The clinic, located at 95 Old Marlton Pike West in Marlton, New Jersey, opened for hopeful parents April 9.

Eichlin started working at RMANJ Marlton – previously located at the Elmwood Business Park – last summer. Her role is vital to the center’s clinical operations: in addition to doing morning monitoring, performing ultrasounds, saline sonograms, hysterosalpingograms (HSG), Intrauterine Inseminations (IUI), and meeting with new patients, she is also one of a small number of nurse practitioners in the area performing flexible hysteroscopies.

“I’m so glad I’ve come back to RMANJ,” said Eichlin. “It’s a big honor to work with Dr. Kaser and Dr. Franasiak and to build this practice – it’s challenging and innovative and exciting.”

With that type of enthusiasm, it’s no wonder Eichlin is back at RMANJ.

Eichlin began her nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She loved the work, but wanted to get certified as a nurse practitioner and experience outpatient care, so she decided to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing from Philadelphia’s Thomas Jefferson University.

Shortly before graduation, in 2015, she came to RMANJ for her clinical rotation. It was such a good fit that she stayed for two years, leaving in 2017 to get a taste of obstetrics and gynecology at a St. Luke’s University Health Network clinic in Wind Gap, Pa. During that time, she also graduated from North Carolina’s Duke University, where she submitted a manuscript on music therapy during the HSG procedure – a project she’d done at RMANJ – and earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

Afterward, with the doctorate under her belt and the OBGYN experience she’d been craving to round out her women’s health clinical experience, she was ready to come back to RMANJ.

“I left because I wanted to get that general OBGYN experience, and it was great and I learned a ton,” Eichlin said, “but I could not pass up the job in Marlton.”
