Our providers are people too
Lauren Nervi is a board certified family nurse practitioner and registered nurse. She is a current member of The National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM).
Nervi graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts and entered the workforce in the business world. Soon after, she realized her dream was to make a difference in people’s lives in the health care field, so she decided to return to school to become a nurse. She earned her second bachelor’s degree from an accelerated nursing baccalaureate program at Pace University in New York City and, soon after, began working as a registered nurse in a local hospital. After gaining some experience in the hospital, she seized an opportunity of a lifetime and joined Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s Morristown office.
“Coming to RMANJ was such an incredible chance to be a part of one of the very best teams in the reproductive medicine field,” said Nervi.
While working full-time at RMANJ, Nervi attended Rutgers University (previously University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ) and earned her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After graduation, she trained extensively with Dr. Bergh and transitioned to her new role. Lauren is very proud to be the first advanced practice provider at RMANJ. As a nurse practitioner based out of the Basking Ridge office, she sees new patients, conducts follow-up appointments, and performs ultrasounds, IUIs, endometrial biopsies, saline sonograms, and physical examinations.
