Nola S. Herlihy, M.D., joined the Jefferson-RMA fellowship program in July 2019. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Science Business. She then received her M.D. at the New York University School of Medicine in Manhattan. As a medical student, she founded the school’s community service program and was actively involved in childhood obesity research, for which she won the Dr. Saul J. Farber Award for Public Health.
She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she received the medical student teaching award, PGY2 teaching award, the Mount Sinai Resident Research Day Award and was elected Administrative Chief Resident. During her residency, she authored several peer-reviewed articles and presented poster and oral presentations at the annual American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Pacific Coast Reproductive Society meetings. She also authored articles for the Huffington Post about life as an OBGYN resident. Dr. Herlihy is honored to be joining the team at RMANJ for further training in reproductive medicine.
