Alexa Konrad is a Physician Assistant specializing in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). She earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Pittsburgh and her Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University.

She began her career as a medical scribe for an emergency room and worked as a chiropractic assistant before joining RMA of Philadelphia as a clinical assistant. While she had very little background in REI, it wasn’t long before she realized she not only wanted to pursue a career in REI but, more specifically, at RMA. She soon earned her master’s degree to make that dream a reality.

“As a clinical assistant at RMA, I learned from excellent providers, nurses, and embryologists. I took that with me through graduate school and kept the goal of becoming a Physician Assistant at RMA in the front of my mind,” says Alexa. “Now that I’m here, I can say with 100% certainty I made the right choice. RMA delivers the highest quality of care while helping make dreams come true.”

In her role, Alexa is passionate about helping women make informed decisions about their health and finds her work at RMA to be highly rewarding. She understands that navigating infertility can often create feelings of vulnerability, uncertainty and isolation, so she provides a supportive environment where patients feel safe, empowered, and a sense of control.

When not in the office, Alexa enjoys spending time with her family at the Jersey Shore where they live. She also loves Philadelphia sports and attends as many Phillies games as she can. Traveling to new places tops her bucket list, and her patients may be surprised to learn she used to coach one of the highest levels of All Star Competitive Cheerleading.

“It is important to know that the majority of fertility challenges are beyond a woman’s control. It is our job as providers to empower women by giving them a sense of control over their treatment. We can break the silence that surrounds infertility by providing a supportive environment and encouraging open conversations.”
