Get to know Dr. Juneau

"It's my duty to educate my patients so they can make the best decisions to build their families."

Dr. Juneau is a board-certified specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). Raised in a family of doctors, Dr. Juneau knew from an early age that medical school was in her future. It was early in her career that REI caught her eye. "I'm a fixer. I fix everything in my house,” she jokes. She describes herself as goal-oriented and driven, and reproductive endocrinology and infertility checked all the boxes that inspire her.

After residency, Dr. Juneau completed her fellowship at Jefferson — Reproductive Medical Associates of NJ. "I knew I wanted patient volume and smart people to learn from. To me, RMA is the place. We spent six months in the embryology lab as fellows. I don't know any other fellowship that does that."

After her fellowship, Dr. Juneau worked in private practice while still pursuing research and teaching. When asked what drove her to return to RMA, she says, "There was a time in my career when I didn't get to interact daily with patients, and I felt a part of me was missing." She adds that her current position allows her to simultaneously participate in cutting-edge research and provide that knowledge and those resources to her patients as they grow their families. Her work has been published in 6 peer-reviewed journals, including Fertility and Sterility and the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, and she has presented over 50 abstracts nationwide. Her clinical interests include advances in embryo culture, autoimmune disease and infertility, and preimplantation genetic testing and diagnosis.

Dr. Juneau understands that the fertility process can be exhausting for patients. She adds that communication and education for patients at RMA is a huge priority for her — she actually helped rebuild the RMA patient education modules.

Dr. Juneau can be found with her family when she's not in the office. "We love cooking spicy food and being outdoors," she says, adding that both she and her husband were born in Louisiana and raised in Alabama. "Actually, I like eating-- not so much cooking," she laughs. Her light-hearted nature makes her easy to talk to, and she says this results from the love and support of her family, her husband, and their three young children.
