Danielle Leotta is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a current member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Danielle graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Science degree and started working at a local hospital. During this time, she realized her dream was to help others in the healthcare field and returned to school to become a nurse. She earned her second bachelor’s degree from an accelerated nursing baccalaureate program at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey; she excelled at the program graduating Summa Cum Laude and top of her class.
Danielle’s nursing career was dedicated to caring for adult and pediatric oncology patients during their most vulnerable times. “Patients undergoing cancer treatment will always hold a special place in my heart; their perseverance and strength are empowering.” Fertility preservation in this patient population is where her interest in the reproductive medicine field started.
While working full-time as an oncology nurse, she earned her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a minor in Complementary and Integrative therapies from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed a clinical rotation at RMANJ. “My experience at RMANJ solidified that I wanted to pursue a career in reproductive medicine. RMA focuses on comprehensive patient-centered care, research, and innovation; I am grateful to be part of this team”.
