Diana Tatsumi
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
PA-C, MPAS
San Diego, CA
Diana Tatsumi is a nationally board-certified physician assistant who joined the Pearl team in May 2025. She received her bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon before starting her career in medicine at a fertility clinic where she worked as a scribe and medical assistant for several years. She then pursued her medical training at Oregon Health & Science University where she earned a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, after which she returned to the field of reproductive medicine as a provider.
With a passion for women’s healthcare and valuable experience as a reproductive medicine PA, Diana aims to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care through patient education, shared decision-making, and evidence-based practice. She believes that knowledge is power when it comes to being proactive about one’s reproductive health, and she is passionate about empowering patients with the information they need to make informed decisions about their care. She looks forward to developing strong patient-provider relationships and serving as an educator, partner, and advocate for her patients throughout their unique fertility journeys.
Diana is a recent San Diego transplant by way of Cincinnati, Ohio; however, she is originally from Portland, Oregon and is happy to be back on the West Coast. She and her husband welcomed their daughter last year and have enjoyed exploring San Diego as a new family of three (plus their golden retriever, Nemo)! In her free time, she enjoys running, photography, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
