Joelle Mouhanna, MD will join the Jefferson-RMA Fellowship Program in July 2025. She graduated from Florida International University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She remained in Miami where she received her Medical Degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2021.
During medical school, Dr. Mouhanna was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and received the ACOG District XII J. Milton Award which recognizes outstanding medical students in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She then completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Health System where she was selected as Administrative Chief Resident during her last year of residency, a role which required great responsibility and which she performed with utmost dedication.
During her training, she presented her research at a variety of national scientific meetings and published several peer-reviewed papers in journals such as JAMA, Global Reproductive Health, and Urology Research and Practice. Dr. Mouhanna is excited to be joining the prestigious team at Jefferson-RMA for fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
