APRN, FNP-BC

“Infertility is so much more than a medical diagnosis. Creating a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard, validated, and never judged is essential to meaningful care.”
Michelle Browning, NP is a dedicated women’s health nurse practitioner with a strong background in reproductive and fertility care. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Tampa, Michelle relocated to New York, where she worked as an infertility nurse while completing her master’s degree.
In 2016, Michelle moved to New Orleans and spent nine years working at Planned Parenthood, where she provided comprehensive care including routine gynecologic services, family planning, sexual and reproductive health care, and gender‑affirming hormone therapy. Her breadth of experience has shaped a thoughtful, inclusive, and patient‑centered approach to care.
Inspired by exceptional APRN educators and clinical mentors, Michelle pursued advanced practice nursing to continue a legacy of high‑quality, compassionate patient care. She is particularly passionate about women’s health and fertility medicine because of the rapidly evolving nature of the field and the opportunity it provides to deliver personalized, empowering care. She finds great fulfillment in partnering with patients and using evidence‑based resources to help them achieve their reproductive and family‑building goals.
Michelle understands that infertility goes far beyond a medical diagnosis. She approaches patient care with empathy, attentive listening, and a commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment where concerns can be shared without judgment. Her goal is to ensure patients feel heard, validated, and supported, both emotionally and clinically through every step of their journey.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time on the intracoastal waterway with family and friends, playing with her fur babies, reading non‑fiction, and participating in impromptu dance parties with her four‑year‑old. These moments bring balance, joy, and perspective to her life and her work.
