Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA) in Morristown, New Jersey, is proud to welcome Pavan Gill, MD, a board-certified OB/GYN and fertility specialist, to the team.
Dr. Gill chose to specialize in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) driven by her experiences with inspiring mentors, the impact of infertility on loved ones, and her commitment to research, leadership, and advocacy. Witnessing her patients’ resilience further fueled her dedication to helping individuals build their families.
As an REI provider, Dr. Gill is excited by the dynamic nature of the field. She is inspired by the scientific and technological advancements in REI, ongoing improvements in assisted reproductive technology (ART) outcomes, and the expanding accessibility of ART. Dr. Gill is passionate about the evolution of REI and committed to personally contributing to the field’s advancement through her expertise and research. Her areas of focus include optimizing ART outcomes, pre-implantation genetic testing, recurrent implantation failure, personalization of care, and improving access to fertility treatments.
Dr. Gill’s expertise has been recognized with industry awards and certifications. She received the Top Prize Poster from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) for her research on recurrent implantation failure. She is certified as a Technical Supervisor (TS) by the American Board of Bioanalysis, underscoring her specialized knowledge in embryology and laboratory practices. Her research has been published in leading journals and presented at major national and international conferences, including the ASRM, the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, and the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society.
Her passion and work ethic are also reflected in her academic achievements. A native of Toronto, Canada, she graduated from the prestigious University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction in Human Behavioral Biology. She then attended medical school at the same institution, where she received a leadership scholarship and numerous research awards. She completed her residency training in OB/GYN at the University of Toronto and is double board-certified in OB/GYN in both the United States and Canada.
Dr. Gill completed her REI fellowship training at RMA NJ through the Jefferson-RMA Fellowship Program. As a global leader in the field, joining RMA as an REI specialist was the natural next step, allowing her to advance her research, teaching, and collaboration within the IVI RMA network.
In addition to her exceptional medical training and research background, Dr. Gill is deeply committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She recognizes that hesitancy and misconceptions can surround fertility treatment and is committed to addressing these barriers while enhancing awareness and accessibility. Understanding the challenges and uncertainties of the journey, Dr. Gill emphasizes the importance of having a supportive team. Outside work, Dr. Gill enjoys long-distance road cycling and pottery, spending time with family and friends, exploring new recipes, traveling, and playing sports such as basketball and tennis. She is also an avid record collector and enjoys attending concerts in her spare time.
