Dr. Keith L. Blauer, MD, is a board-certified infertility specialist and reproductive endocrinologist who treats patients at Reproductive Care Center in Sandy and Pleasant Grove, Utah.
He completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Zoology at Brigham Young University, then received a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Air Force to attend the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. Prior to graduating in 1983, Dr. Blauer was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society for his academic excellence.
He went on to complete a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Keesler USAF Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi, followed by subspecialty fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Combined Federal Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility — a joint program of Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC), Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Dr. Blauer has served on the faculty of four medical schools, including the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), Wright State University (WSU), University of South Carolina (USC), and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). After more than two decades practicing east of the Mississippi, he returned home to Utah to co-found Reproductive Care Center (RCC) and provide expert fertility and IVF care to families throughout the Intermountain West.
Raised in Burley, Idaho, Dr. Blauer served a mission in the Japan Fukuoka Mission (1974–1976) for the LDS Church. He and his wife, Raye Jean Bosley, have been married since 1977 and are the proud parents of six children and seventeen grandchildren. When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Blauer enjoys gardening; his flowers are often on display at the Sandy clinic.
Dr. Blauer specializes in infertility diagnosis and treatment, offering comprehensive care in areas such as:
