Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA) in Lake Mary, Florida, is proud to welcome Amanda Hill, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, to the team. Amanda is a women’s health nurse practitioner specializing in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). Her passion for the field of REI began while she was working as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, where she spent the first 10 years of her career. Caring for women and their babies during such a vulnerable and uncertain time in their lives ignited her initial interest in women’s health, and she also gained a deep appreciation for the infertility struggles many of her patients had faced. She soon knew she not only wanted to go into women’s health as a nurse practitioner but specifically wanted to specialize in REI.

To accomplish these goals, Amanda returned to the University of Central Florida, where she had first earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, to pursue her Master of Science degree in Nursing to become a fertility nurse practitioner. She then joined a local fertility clinic as a provider in 2021 and was excited to enter the ever-evolving field of REI at a time when women’s health was moving to the forefront of research.

Amanda’s interest in promoting women’s health and advocating for her patients is why moving to RMA Florida in 2025 was the perfect opportunity. She was impressed by RMA’s standing as a world leader in REI with its cutting-edge research, innovation and success rates, and with that support she knew she could continue providing the highest level of care customized to each patient and couple’s unique context.

In helping her patients – some of whom have been personal friends – build their families, Amanda understands both the physical and emotional toll that infertility can take. She listens to each patient and provides individualized care based on their specific needs and preferences, and she is sensitive to the fact that everyone’s infertility journey is different. She strives to provide a safe space for patients to share their thoughts and feelings as they navigate what can be one of the scariest and most uncertain times in their lives.

Amanda also prioritizes educating her patients on the common misconceptions about the causes of infertility (including the higher incidence of male factor infertility than is commonly believed) as well as the intricacies of conception and women’s reproductive organs. She wants her patients to have a clear and accurate picture of their unique situation so they can make the best decisions for their family and their future.

When she’s not seeing patients, Amanda enjoys traveling, experiencing new cultures and foods, listening to music, reading a good book, and spending time with family (including her yellow Labrador)!

She is an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) board-certified family nurse practitioner, an American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) certified nurse, and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the ASRM.
