Our dedicated team of reproductive endocrinologists is led by Dr. Thomas J. Kim. For over two decades, Dr. Kim has helped thousands of couples and individuals become parents through cutting-edge fertility treatments, many of which emerged from RMA researchers.

  • The RMA team pioneered and remains committed to frozen embryo transfer (FET) and single embryo transfer (SET). This standard of care improves the likelihood of having a successful pregnancy.
  • Genetic testing helps increase the odds of success. Our embryo screening technology allows us to select the best embryo to transfer. Doing so improves implantation rates, reduces the risk of miscarriage, shortens the time to pregnancy, and helps our patients have one healthy baby at a time.

Proven treatments and innovative approaches aren't the only advantages of working with RMA Southern California. Our Los Angeles fertility clinic also offers:

  • A spacious West Los Angeles facility equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, centrally located near Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Brentwood, and Culver City.
  • An in-house IVF lab that lets patients access all fertility services under one roof.
  • Flexible appointment times with early and late visits available to fit around your schedule.
  • The ability to schedule monitoring appointments online through our Artemis patient portal, so you can manage your care without unnecessary wait times or phone calls.
  • Experienced and compassionate reproductive endocrinologists who treat you as an individual, not a number.

Available Fertility Treatments

From basic options to advanced treatments, our Los Angeles fertility clinic offers the full range of fertility and family-building treatments.

Intrauterine Insemination

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is also known as artificial insemination. During this treatment, our fertility specialists use a catheter (a thin, flexible tube) to inject sperm into a woman’s uterus.

This fertility treatment occurs during a woman’s ovulation window and often in combination with ovulation induction.

In Vitro Fertilization

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is what most patients think of when fertility treatments come to mind.

This advanced family-building option can effectively treat many causes of infertility and has the highest success rates of any fertility treatment.

IVF treatment includes several steps, including ovulation induction, egg retrieval, fertilization in the IVF lab, and embryo transfer.

Ovulation Induction

When women do not ovulate regularly, ovulation induction uses medications to stimulate the ovaries to release one or more eggs. This helps increase the chances of conception, either naturally or in combination with treatments like IUI and IVF.”

Oral and injectable medications are available for ovulation induction. The type of medication that our fertility specialists recommend varies depending on the treatment and the patient.

Fertility Preservation

More women are waiting to have children. This has made egg freezing a popular option for those who want to press pause on their fertility.

Through a combination of ovulation induction, egg retrieval, and in-lab freezing, it’s possible to plan your fertility your way.

Donor Eggs, Sperm, and Embryos

The path to parenthood sometimes requires a little extra help from third-party reproduction options. These include egg, sperm, and embryo donation.

All donors undergo thorough screening to help improve the likelihood of success, and patients can choose from known or anonymous donors.

Gestational Surrogacy

Gestational surrogacy is another form of third-party reproduction. With this arrangement, a gestational carrier, or surrogate, carries a pregnancy for someone else.

Many types of patients choose this option, including gay couples, single men, and women who cannot carry a pregnancy for any reason.

LGBTQ+ Fertility Options

Everyone deserves the opportunity to have a family. RMA has been at the forefront of LGBTQ+ fertility care since our founding in 1999.

We are proud to be recognized by the Human Rights Campaign for providing effective, professional, and safe fertility care for gay, lesbian, transgender, and nonbinary patients.

Fertility Care for Single Parents

Our advanced fertility treatments and third-party reproduction options allow single people to start and grow their families without a partner.

To support those who are single parents by choice, our Los Angeles fertility clinic offers IUI and IVF with donor services and gestational surrogacy.

IVF Success Rates

Our Los Angeles fertility clinic is proud of our IVF success rates, but they aren’t the only way we measure success. We also consider your experience as a patient with us.
