During the 10–12 day stimulation phase, expect 3–4 short monitoring visits (bloodwork + ultrasound). Appointments are available Monday–Saturday, with extended morning hours for convenience.
IVF actually has a lower risk of multiple pregnancy compared to other fertility treatments. This is because you decide how many of the embryos are transferred into the uterus. If you transfer one embryo, there is about a 1% chance that embryo will split and lead to a twin pregnancy.
