Each patient at RMA is paired with one of our financial coordinators, who will be your concierge in all things related to affording care. They will call your insurance, provide financial options, and inform you of any discount programs available.
As of January 2025, Washington state does not mandate that insurance companies cover infertility treatments, including in vitro fertilization (IVF). Some health insurance policies may cover specific procedures related to fertility testing and initial consultations. Please remember that at RMA, every patient will meet with one of our financial coordinators free of charge. They will work with your insurance provider directly and tell you everything you'll need to know about how to afford care.
Yes, Dr. Lin offers IVF second-opinion consultations. A second-opinion consult may be valuable for patients experiencing failed IVF cycles at another fertility clinic. Contact our office if you are interested in switching fertility clinics.

The general rule is that you should seek out the assistance of a reproductive endocrinologist if you are under 35 years old and have been trying for 1 year without success or you are older than 35 and trying for 6 months without success.
Additionally, if you have known medical conditions such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), uterine fibroids, male factor concerns, or have irregular or absent menstrual cycles, then we recommend you see a fertility specialist as soon as possible.
