Dr. Hotaling is deeply invested in research and advancing the field of urology. He has been published in over 100 peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, and books and is a recognized speaker both nationally and internationally.
Dr. James M. Hotaling is RMANJ’s first in-house urologist, helping to streamline patient care for those experiencing male infertility. Before joining RMA, Dr. Hotaling held a position at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City as a board-certified urologist specializing in male infertility.
Having graduated from Dartmouth College with high honors in Biophysical Chemistry and History, he decided to pursue medicine, earning his medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Surgery and Urology at the University Of Washington School Of Medicine, while at the same time earning his M.S. in Epidemiology at the University Of Washington School Of Public Health. He then went on to earn a fellowship position in Urology/Andrology at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Medicine.
Male infertility can be caused by many factors like blockages, birth defects, or other abnormalities. Dr. Hotaling is deeply invested in research and advancing the field of urology. He has been published in over 100 peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, and books and is a recognized speaker both nationally and internationally.
