Carissa Hlywiak, MSN, APN, FNP-C, is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with a rich background in nursing and a strong commitment to providing quality care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (FNP) from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stockton University.
With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Carissa has worked in various clinical settings, including labor and delivery, pediatric emergency rooms, and OB/GYN clinics. Her journey to becoming a Nurse Practitioner was fueled by a lifelong dream, despite a pause in her education to focus on her growing family. This pause, however, provided invaluable experience that shaped her into the empathetic and knowledgeable provider she is today.
Currently, Carissa is a Nurse Practitioner at Reproductive Medicine Associates, where she finds great fulfillment in helping individuals and couples build their families. She is particularly excited about the research and evidence-based practices in her specialty.
Outside work, Carissa cherishes time with her two boys and enjoys cooking, working out, and tending to her vegetable and fruit garden. Her patients often describe her as personable, energetic, and comforting, appreciating her dedication to their care.
Carissa's mantra revolves around the value of time and the importance of seeking help when needed.
