Dr. Kassie Bollig, MD MSCE, is a passionate and accomplished fertility specialist at Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA) in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Dr. Bollig's journey to becoming an infertility specialist was a path of discovery sparked by her interest in women's health and surgery. “The intricate science behind reproduction and the intimate relationships I build with my patients, unique to infertility, is exactly what I want to spend my life pursuing,” she says.
Dr. Bollig was pre-accepted into the University of Missouri School of Medicine as a high school senior through the Bryant Scholars Program. She graduated top of her class from the University of Missouri with a double major in Science in Biology and Spanish. She earned her medical degree and completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. She then went to the University of Pennsylvania, where she completed a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology.
Dr. Bollig’s research interests include biomarkers for early detection of pregnancy location and viability, hCG algorithms for predicting pregnancy viability, preconception maternal cardiovascular health and ART outcomes, and markers of ovarian reserve and fertility preservation in Turner Syndrome. She additionally has expertise in minimally invasive reproductive surgery.
Another interest of Dr. Bollig’s is painting. She contemplated a career as an artist before pursuing her passion for medicine. Growing up on a cattle farm in the Midwest encouraged Dr. Bollig’s love for the outdoors, but her most cherished time now is spent anywhere with her family.
Dr. Kassie Bollig has a strong background in clinical and epidemiologic research. Her expertise lies in large database management, prospective cohort development, and advanced statistical and predictive modeling. Dr. Bollig's research focuses on a range of critical topics, including biomarkers for pregnancy viability, maternal cardiovascular health, and fertility preservation in Turner Syndrome, making her a valuable asset to Reproductive Medicine Associates and its commitment to evidence-based care and innovative reproductive research.
