Milae Jenny Park
NURSE PRACTITIONER

Certified nurse practitioner Milae Jenny Park earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania’s Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner program.
After first graduating from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Jenny completed an accelerated bachelor’s degree in nursing from New Jersey City University. Both passion and personal experience fueled her career in nursing. “I’ve always wanted to work with women as my patient demographic,” she says. “And after seeing my mother’s inpatient care, my career in nursing became even more apparent.”
While working as a registered nurse in labor and delivery units at hospitals such as Maimonides Medical Center, Morristown Medical Center, and Princeton Medical Center and as a travel labor and delivery nurse, Jenny felt called to pursue a nurse practitioner degree. “Working in labor and delivery as an RN had been amazing, but I wanted to do more – building longer-term relationships with patients and taking more responsibility for their care became the goal.”
After earning her degree and joining RMA, Jenny found its combination of quality patient care, research focus, and team-oriented culture ideal. She also draws on inspiration closer to home. “Seeing other healthcare professionals care for my mother motivated me to treat my patients the way I would want my mother to be treated.”
Outside of office hours, Jenny loves to travel, which has included excursions such as a U.S. cross-country road trip and a 10-country European vacation. She also recently picked up a new skill: “I just learned how to ride a bike, so if you see someone in protective gear pedaling slowly on the sidewalk, that’s probably me!”
“When looking at lab results, patients often ask, ‘Is this normal?’ There are ranges of ‘normal’ for most tests, but at RMA, we see each person holistically, not as a single lab value. You are more than the sum of these tests, and we cater to the uniqueness of each individual.”
