Our providers are people too
Dr. Michael Simoni, who completed his medical school training at Harvard Medical School, his OB/GYN residency at the Yale School of Medicine and his REI fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, is passionate about translational research and authentic patient care.
“I’m really down to earth, and I think of myself as someone who can talk with patients about this confusing process in a way they will understand and trust – and that’s really important for the patient to stay committed to the journey and see success.”
Practicing out of RMA New Jersey’s Marlton and Princeton offices, Dr. Simoni provides RMA patients the full spectrum of fertility care, specializing in embryo implantation issues such as Recurrent Implantation Failure (RIF).
In addition, Dr. Simoni is passionate about – and has training on – mental health issues in pregnancy and the toll fertility treatment can have on women and couples, and strives to offer patients not only compassion and state-of-the-art, evidence-based fertility care, but tools to deal with the mental health toll of their experience.
Dr. Simoni’s expertise covers the full range of reproductive endocrinology and infertility care, including comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), third-party reproduction, reproductive surgery and fertility preservation.
Dr. Simoni specializes in embryo implantation issues such as Recurrent Implantation Failure (RIF) and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL) and has extensive research experience on the role of viral infection on implantation and the placenta, particularly with the Zika virus.
