Amber M. Klimczak, M.D., joined the Jefferson-RMA Fellowship Program in July 2019 as a first-year fellow. She graduated from The University of Texas with high honors after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology as well as minors in Spanish and Business. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she served as Vice President of her class. She went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, and she was elected to lead her program as Administrative Chief Resident.
Throughout residency, her dedication to teaching was exemplified by receiving several mentoring awards, including the prestigious Thayer Award for Excellence in Teaching. She has published a variety of peer-reviewed journal articles in the fields of genetics, assisted reproductive technology and minimally invasive surgery in journals such as Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, Clinical and Experimental Obstetrics & Gynecology, and The Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology. She has also presented abstracts at several national meetings, including at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She is honored to join the esteemed Jefferson-RMA team for fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
