Ashley W. Tiegs, M.D. joined the Jefferson-RMA fellowship program in July 2017 as the first-year fellow. She graduated from Wake Forest University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and subsequently decided to pursue a career in medicine. She received her M. D. from Wake Forest School of Medicine where she received the ACOG John Gibbons Medical Student Award as well as Wake Forest School of Medicine’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Merit Award for two consecutive years.
She completed residency training at New York University School of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology, where she was actively involved in research in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. During her residency training, she produced four peer-reviewed publications and was awarded the first prize for an oral presentation of her research at the ACOG District II Annual Meeting in 2015. She received the Professional in Training Scholarship from the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society as well as appointed as a Resident Reporter for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Tiegs is honored to join the Jefferson-RMA team for advanced training in the field of Reproductive Medicine.
