Julia G. Kim MD, MPH joined the Jefferson-RMA Fellowship Program in July 2018 as a first-year fellow. She graduated from Brown University in three years with an A.B. in Comparative Literature with a focus in Russian. She then matriculated to the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University as part of the highly competitive Program in Liberal Medical Education. She graduated with a scholarly concentration in Aging and received the ACOG John Gibbons Medical Student Award as a third-year student.
In lieu of a fourth year of medical school, she attained an M.P.H. from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. During her time there, she joined the BetterBirth division of Dr. Atul Gawande’s Ariadne Labs, working with Dr. Neel Shah and Dr. Toni Golen. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. During her residency, she was the recipient of a Senior Housestaff Teaching Award as well as a Professional in Training Scholarship from the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. Dr. Kim is excited to join the Jefferson-RMA team for fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
